This Meiko is from KaITO's Portal!AU. She seems like a normal Meiko/MEIKO!Vocaloid at first, but the nature of Crypton where she came from is much much different. For instance, they made weird Portal!guns (yes, that Portal), and she and her family had a lot less freedom and more supervision.

...Oh and they sort of drove her brother murderously insane with a series of bad patches and programming, something she didn't find out about completely (he had been separated from her and the others prior to his utter break-down) until a Portal!gun accident sent her into the Vocaloid Dressing room.

Now she's waiting for Kaito/KaITO to be repaired, feeling very guilty, worrying about the rest of her family, and generally feeling very confused, weirded-out, and upset.
